General Operative Rubber Lining Division

We are currently hiring General Operatives to join our progressive Rubber Lining team. This role is critical in ensuring that parts have been rubber lined to our Customers’ requirements and to the required standard.

Key Responsibilities and Duties
• To rubber line the parts as per the specification on the route card
• To operate the sandblaster in the correct manner
• To paint the parts as per the specification on the route card
• To operate the machinery in line with operating procedures
• To operate the Autoclave in the correct manner
• To liaise with the Supervisor on any quality issues that may arise
• Ensure that workstations are kept as clean and tidy as possible
• Compliance with any Health & Safety regulations including always wearing the appropriate PPE
• Assist with any ad hoc duties as requested by your Supervisor/Line Manager

Key Skills and Competencies
• Min 1 year experience in a similar production / manufacturing operator role
• Knowledge of manufacturing machinery an advantage but not essential as full training will be provided
• Experience using machinery, working on production lines or using factory machinery an advantage.
• Experience with spray painting or sand blasting an advantage.
• Forklift experience desirable
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Ability to work on own initiative
