General Operative Hose Division

PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A 4 DAY WORKING WEEK (10 HOURS PER DAY). MUST BE ABLE TO SPEAK ENGLISH

Key Responsibilities and Duties

• Build rubber hoses in accordance with the manufacturers specification
• Application of rubber and textile on large hoses
• Application of wire and wet wrapping on large hoses
• Assisting with the stripping & extracting of hoses from the hose line production
• Assisting with packing of hoses and loading them onto containers for shipping
• Preparation of pallets for shipment
• Ensure that the Hose Area of the factory is kept as clean and tidy as possible and assist with general housekeeping as required
• Compliance with any Health & Safety regulations including wearing the appropriate PPE and follow all instructions
• To carry out any ad hoc requests by the Production Supervisor

Key Skills and Competencies

• Min 1 year experience in a similar production / manufacturing operator role
• Knowledge of manufacturing machinery an advantage but not essential as full training will be given
• Manual handling desirable but not essential as training will be provided
• Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
• Strong work ethic
• Ability to work on own initiative
• Ability to work well as part of a team
• Ability to work under pressure
