Industrial Hose Manufacturing Technician

We are looking for an Industrial Hose Manufacturing Technician to join our hose manufacturing team.
In this role, you will be involved in the hands-on manufacture and assembly of large industrial hoses. You will work with rubber, textile and wire reinforcement materials and use a range of machinery and equipment to build hoses to the required specifications.
Full training is provided for this role.

Key Skills & Responsibilities

• Building industrial rubber hoses to production specifications and drawings
• Working with rubber, textile and wire reinforcement materials
• Using machinery and equipment as part of the hose manufacturing process
• Carrying out wet wrapping and building up reinforcement layers
• Checking hoses during production to make sure they meet quality standards
• Helping with the stripping and removal of finished hoses
• Cutting, measuring and preparing hoses for final quality checks
• Preparing finished products for packing and dispatch
• Keeping the work area clean, tidy and safe
• Reporting any machine or product issues to your supervisor or manager
• Following company procedures, Health & Safety requirements and wearing the appropriate PPE
• Working as part of the team to meet production targets and maintain good quality
